Cowboy Action Shooting Is A Colorful Sport

L-R: Mesquite Millie, Horseshoe John and Owlhoot Hardin. Ranger Roger is in the background between Millie and Horseshoe.

Cowboy Shooting is a colorful sport. Just look at the folks at the right. Mesquite Millie is decked out in red & white. Horseshoe John is dazzling in his lavender shirt and red suspenders. Owlhoot Hardin is as eye catching as a red bird in a tree. And partially hidden, Ranger Roger sports a green shirt and yeller bandana. But not to be out done, Tenn Smoke experimented with a new look of his own. After the shoot, he tried some special handloads. He balanced powder, wadding, and ….. red chalk. When he test fired his loads, they worked well … And They Produced Red Smoke.
