Lone Ranger Stages Shot At March Shoot!

Keystone Shooting Senior Gunfighter As The LONE RANGER

The Lone Ranger, in pulp, radio, TV and on the big screen, was / is a 2-gun hero who shoots silver bullets and wears a mask, like this Lone Ranger shown here. His mask is sorta clear. He must’ve worn the color off during all those western sand storms.  Now you may think this one looks like Keystone, but when he was shooting the stages, he was the Lone Ranger. So were all other shooters. All had their opportunities to add to the character. Last Kiss was a bit feminine. Marshal Too Tall was a bit talkative and vertically challenged. How were you in the character role when you shot?  Tabasco JOT told T-Bone that did a good job writing the stages. He did.

Some of the highlights of the day were Buckaroo Shooter Trooper Troy shot his 1st match as a SASS member and under his new, official alias: Last month, he was Pistol Pete. Another Buckaroo shooter, Lil Undertaker, shot his 2nd consecutive No Misses Match. Not to be outdone, the Elder Statesmen brothers Tabasco JOT and Ruff Edge both shot No Misses Matches and placed 4th and 8th respectively while shooting clean. In total, 11 shooters shot No Misses Matches: Lil Undertaker, Tabasco JOT, Ruff Edge, Polecat Carl, Marshal Too Tall, Tin Pot, Lulu McGoo, Mrs. Pleasant, Yankee Dutchman, 3-Notch and Hurricane Charley.  Marshal W.D. was the TOP GUN, and Last Kiss was the Top Lady Shooter. The Top 10 Shooters were: (1) Marshal W.D. (2) Hurricane Charley (3) Unpleasant (4) Tabasco JOT (5) Polecat Carl (6) Ocoee Red (7) Marshal Too Tall (8) Ruff Edge (9) Clancy O’Conall and (10) Purly.  76 shooters completed the match.  3 others started but had to leave before shooting 3 stages: they’ll get a free shoot at the next match.
