Lady Ocoee Rangers Give Tennessee Mongo A Shooting Lesson
Last Kiss and her intrepid posse of Ocoee Ranger lady shooters collaborated to blast the targets on a rather warm day at the July Shoot. If you look at the photo below, you’ll notice that there’s a thorn amongst the roses: Tennessee Mongo. Yep, Mongo was the only sorta cowboy in Last Kiss’ posse, but the gals took matters into their own hands to have an all cowgirl posse: they christened him with a temporary new alias. When Mesquite Millie and Deadman recorded the scores, the score card issued to Tennessee Mongo was submitted showing the shooting results for Tennessee Mongalina. Before the shoot, Mongo said, “I know what people will say; I’m the fly in the ointment.” Yep. That sorta covers it. How’d Kiss get stuck with him? Well, she wanted Miss Kitty Kat in the all gal posse, and Kitty Kat, being a new shooter, didn’t feel comfortable shooting without Mongo near. So ………………

Papa Dave, always fast on the trigger, was the TOP GUN, and Anita Margarita was the Top Cowgirl Shooter. The Top 10 Shooters were (1) Papa Dave (2) Unpleasant (3) Marshal W.D.
