Keystone Shooting His Trusty ’73 Winchester In The Snow

When the going gets tough, the tough get going, and the rest of us stay home. And that’s what happened at the Ocoee Rangers February Shoot. 46 intrepid shooters ventured out into the snow to ring the steel targets with speeding bullets …. and also the more slowly moving projectiles from some really light loads. When the smoke cleared, Unpleasant emerged as the TOP GUN, but just barely. He and Barkeep Casey tied on rank scores, and it took the total time tie-breaker to identify the winner. Unpleasant shot 1.7 seconds faster. Wow! That was close. Yazoo City Gal, shooting Outlaw, was the Top Lady Shooter. …. And Marshal Too Tall was wearing a rakish, new, flat crowned hat, sorta like Russell Crow wore in the remake of 3:10 to Yuma. But that’s appropriate: the little feller is shooting Outlaw this year, and not doing badly. He shot his 2nd consecutive No Misses Match.
