Calico Nicole Shot Her 1st No-Misses Match,

And Marshal Too Tall Won All Buffalo Shoot Categories, Placed 3rd In The Top 10 Shooters & Shot With No-Misses!

Calico Nicole shot her 1st No-Misses Match at the July Shoot. And to make it a clean sweep family affair, her dad (Bad Arm Slim) and granddad (Bad Eye Tom), she calls him “Pop”, joined her and both also shot No-Misses Matches. That’s pretty nifty. And turnout was pretty nifty also: 80 shooters ventured out to celebrate a post July 4th – Independence Day Shoot.

 

Competition for TOP GUN was a real a squeaker between Marshal W.D. and Unpleasant. But when all the smoke cleared, Unpleasant narrowly bested Marshal W.D. by 4 points. And speaking of smoke, take a gander at Kid Ziggy below. This shot is a blast from the barrel of his pistol ….. Well, really from the barrel of Jackalope’s pistol.  Jackalope provided the gun and the bullets to capture this shot. We had a camera with a timer slightly down range. Ziggy asked, “What do you want me to shoot?” The answer was, “It doesn’t matter whether you hit anything or not.  Just don’t shoot the camera.” He didn’t.

The Top Lady Shooter was Anita Margarita: she also placed 4th overall. The Top 10 Shooters were (1) Unpleasant (2) Marshal W.D. (3) Marshal Too Tall (4) Anita Margarita (5) Purly (6) Jackson Longstreet (7) Jackalope (8) Tucson Tuco (9) Pleasant and (10) Risin’ Outlaw. 23 shooters shot No-Misses Matches, including 5 of the Top 10 Shooters. In the Buffalo Shoot, Marshal Too Tall won all the marbles. He placed 1st in Long Ranger Lever Action Rifle, Long Range Single Shot Rifle, Long Range Pistol and .22 Cal. shooting. Too Tall ain’t just another pretty face. He can shoot. Of course Ocoee Red would comment, “No. He ain’t a pretty face. No doubt about that.”
