Buckaroo Shooters!
Just look at the smiles in the photo below. It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and looking at this picture, the obvious response is, “Yep.” The Lady Buckaroo in pink and the buckaroo are S.A. Pondwater’s young’uns, and Tabasco JOT’s grand kids. The Lady Buckaroo in Blue is El Paso Slim’s shooting pardner.

L-R: S.A.’s Girl, S.A. Jr. and Half-Cocked Kaylee, The Future of Cowboy Action Shooting, If There Is To Be A Future.
72 shooters turned out to battle the steel bad guys. 1 had gun trouble and bowed out, but he stayed and helped conduct the shoot. That’s class: it was Horseshoe John. Tin Pot turned out dressed in white, just like the Ghost Rider in the Ghost Rider comic books when some of us were kids. That was a long time ago. Tin Pot didn’t even remember Ghost Rider. He’s probably too young to remember.
When all the smoke cleared, Hurricane Charly was the TOP GUN. Dodge City Dixie was the Top Lady Shooter. The Top 10 Shooters were (1) Hurricane Charly (2) Cumberland Drifter (3) Double Nickle (4) Purly (5) Sean Clancy O’Conall (6) Barkeep Casey (7) Marshal W.D. (8) Widowmaker (9) Tabasco J.O.T. and (10) Kid Ziggy. In the Buffalo Shoot, Marshal Too Tall won the .22 cal. competition, and Jackson Longstreet won all the rest. 22 shooters shot no-misses matches.
