Some of us were complaining about the rain, as we unlimbered our gear, but the Rev. Adam Jones said, “Quit complaining. It’s not shoot time yet. It’ll stop before we shoot.” And it did.The sun even came out, and for the 61 shooters who came and stayed to shoot, 1 left, it was a good shoot. The stages were fast, and more than 1 Gunfighter said that the stages were really good for Gunfighters. And there were lots of Gunfighters: 8 of them, including Last Kiss. She shot in the Gunfighter class. In fact, she placed 3rd in Gunfighter competition and 6th overall. Of the 61 shooters, 7 of them were lady shooters.
Whether you shoot with an established club and just want to visit and shoot with the Ocoee Rangers or you've been thinking about getting into Cowboy Action Shooting, then saddle up and come on out to see what's going on. You'll be glad you did.
