1st 2015 Shoot Was Chilly Cold!
The 1st match of 2015 was chilly, and only 42 shooters showed up to shoot. But it was a beautiful day. It was sunny; the sky was brilliant blue; in the sun, the green pines really stood out against the gray trees; and in the wind, the US flag looked very striking. Another striking thing was that Marshal Too Tall shot Outlaw, one handed at waist level, and shot a No-Misses match.

Unpleasant barely edged out Hurricane Charly as Top Gun, his 1st for 2015. LuLu McGoo, crawling out of her overcoat and scarf to shoot each stage, was the Top Lady Shooter. The Top 10 Shooters were (1) Unpleasant (2) Hurricane Charly (3) Barkeep Casey (4) Purly (5) Kid Ziggy (6) Ocoee Red (7) Yankee Dutchman (8) Happy Pappy (9) Pleasant (10) Tabasco J.O.T. 18 shooters shot with no misses, including Cullen Bohannan, who may have had a bit of divine help (see photo at left). It’s sorta interesting that 6 of the top 10 shooters shot with no misses. In the Buffalo Shoot, before the main match, the competitors scattered the winnings.
Jackson Longstreet won the .22 cal. 100 yard event. Yankee Dutchman was the 1st place Long Range Rifle – Pistol Cal. shooter. Marshal Too Tall won the Long Range Rifle – Rifle Cal. competition. And Unpleasant was the Long Range Pistol event shooter.
